Odelia was born and raised in Jerusalem, and currently practices in a moshav in the Jerusalem area.
She holds a bachelor's degree from Bezalel Academy of Art and Design and a master's degree in Art Education from the Beit Berl Art College.
She studied painting at the Yale University School of Art with Katharine Kuharic during her sabbatical.
She continued her studies as a painter with Ilya Gefter and participated in an artist workshop with Antonio Garcia Lopez in Madrid.
She has taught art and design classes in schools for gifted children for many years and has been the principal of the Rama School for Gifted and Talented Children for over a decade.
Throughout the years the journey of art and art education have always been intertwined in her creative process, one beside the other.
